Overview
Presently, the hospital houses fifty-three clinical departments or research laboratories. There are two national key disciplines (urinary surgery and dermatology), ten national key clinical specialties, one national-local joint engineering center, and one provincial key laboratory. The Core Research Laboratory is located in the Daminggong Branch, and provides a good public platform for all scientists and clinicians.
During recent three years, the hospital has obtained more than four hundreds of peer-viewed grants (seventy million yuan) at state and provincial levels, and one Second-class Prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award. There are annually two hundreds of papers published in SCI journals, including JAMA, Lancet, etc.
The hospital hosts three academic journals, The Chinese Journal of Dermatovenereology, Dermatology Bulletin, and Chinese Journal of Child Health Care. These journals are indexed by international scientific data banks.
