RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Zhang’s research interests are focused in the fields of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He found several serum inflammatory markers for the progression of COPD. He also explored the roles of airway epithelial mitochondrial injury in the pathogenesis of COPD.
