Jianqiang Qu: M.D., professor and doctoral supervisor of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, chief physician of Neurosurgery, Top 10 Chinese famous doctors (MVD for trigeminal neuralgia), member of the Chinese Society of Neurosurgery and the Chinese Neurosurgeons Association, and Editor of Clinical Neurosurgery, Chinese neurosurgery (English version) and other magazines.
Professor Qu is engaged in the basic and clinical research on central nervous system tumors (glioma), functional cranial nerve diseases (hemifacial spasm and trigeminal neuralgia) and dyskinesia (Parkinson disease). In recent five years, Qu and his team have undertaken 3 national projects and 4 key research and development (R&D) projects of Shaanxi Province, and have published 10 SCI papers (3 in Q1). The team is equipped with full-time research assistant, and, at present, has 3 M.D. candidates and 4 postgraduates. One of the M.D. candidate was funded by the China Scholarship Council and went to Cambridge University for exchange.
