Zhang Guilian, female, Professor, doctoral supervisor. She graduated from the Department of Medicine of the former Xi'an Medical University in 1987, and worked in the department of internal medicine at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Medical University (now the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University) in the same year, then worked in the department of neurology since 1989. Short-term training at the University of Melbourne in Australia and Johns Hopkins University in the United States. She currently serves as the member in Neurointerventional Committee of Capacity Building and Continuing Education in NHC of China, Associate Dean of the Neurology Hospital of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, Deputy Director of the Stroke Center, Director of the Department of Neurology, a member of the Chinese Interventional Neuroradiology Society of CSA, a member of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Chinese Research Hospital and Chinese Federation of Interventional Clinical Neurosciences, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Neurology Association and Federation of Interventional Clinical Neurosciences, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Stroke Conference and Federation of Interventional Clinical Neurosciences, a member of Neurology Branch of Chinese Medical Association Shaanxi Branch, Deputy Director of Neurointerventional group and Cerebrovascular Disease group, Deputy Director of Xi'an Neurology Branch. She is good at the diagnosis and interventional therapy of ischemic cerebrovascular disease. She used BPAS-MRI innovatively in China in preoperative evaluation of endovascular treatment in intracranial vertebrobasilar artery. She edited firstly the chapter of "Interventional Diagnosis and Treatment of Cerebrovascular Diseases" in the latest national textbook "Neurology" in China.

She has won many awards in the teaching competitions of Xi'an Jiaotong University, and has been awarded as an excellent supervisor, an outstanding middle-level director at the hospital and an advanced individual in medical care. She was awarded the "Excellent Interventional Physician Award" by the Organizing Committee of the 10th Western China Stroke Intervention Conference. She has won 2 second prizes of science and technology in Shaanxi Higher Education Institutions and 2 third prizes of science and technology in Shaanxi Province. 19 graduate students have been graduated, 5 of them have been awarded as outstanding graduate students of Xi'an Jiaotong University. 2 of them were awarded the excellent graduate thesis of Xi 'an Jiaotong University, Now, there are 4 master degree students and 4 doctoral students. At present, she is performing one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China and one key project of Shaanxi Province. She has published more than 80 papers, including 17 SCI papers in the first or corresponding author.
